He is survived by: his wife Lisa Kizer Burns; his children, Elizabeth Scott (Donald), Courtney Burns and Ryan Burns (Berenice); his siblings, Kathy Lee (Rich), Tom Burns, Jr. (Mary Ellen), Bob Burns (Claudia), Larry Burns (Janet), Chuck Burns (Sandi) and John Burns (Laurie); his grandchildren, DJ "Little Man" Scott, IV, Lilly "Little Lady" (Scott), Patrick "Little Lad" Scott and Walter "Little Laddy" Scott; his mother-in-law Donna Kizer; and his brother-in-law Justin Kizer (Jamie).
