He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashley Knight and Dora Knight (Riley). He is survived by: his wife Obie J. Knight (Watts) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; his children, Earl Knight of Sacramento, California, Carl Knight of Little Rock, AR, John Knight, Jr. of Little Rock, AR, Betty Massey of Hayward, California, Kenetha Egbe of Arlington, Texas and Yuneka Wesley of Manor, Texas; and his sisters, Maple Knight of Grady, AR, Ella Murray of Oakland, California and Clara Mae Whitehurst of Oakland, California. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
