It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. Varnell of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father G. B. Varnell; and his daughter-in-law Lee Ann Varnell (Brady). He is survived by: his wife Carol Courtney Varnell; his sons, Brian Varnell of Cabot and Brady Varnell of Pea Ridge; his grandchildren, Spencer Varnell, Talan Varnell of Pea Ridge and Jäger; and his siblings, Eva Hankins (Don) of Horn Lake, MS, Betty Wreyford (James), Billy Joe (Mary Kay) of Sheridan, Barbara Jean Lenard of Pine Bluff, Linda Overton (Jim) of Bulverde, TX and JoAnn Taylor of Pine Bluff.
