It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wayne Buckley MD (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carie Dan Buckley and Lenore Collins Buckley; his daughter Janie; his brother Carie D. Buckley, Jr.; his former wife Jane Gray Roe Buckley; his wife Marguerite Anne Shaw Buckley; and his stepson Stuart Couch.
He is survived by: his friend Anne Shaw; his children, John Roe Buckley (Ruth) of Tyler, Texas and Sidney Buckley Carter (Larry) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Hale Buckley, Anna Gray Buckley, Annie Carter and Jack Carter; his stepdaughter Catherine Anne Couch; and his nephews, Carie Buckley and Steven Buckley.
