He was predeceased by: his grandfather Jimmie R. Mothershed; and his great-grandparents, Annie Pearl Mothershed-Fluker, Ned Mothershed, Norman and Everdella Pugh.

He is survived by: his parents, Erin B. Mothershed and Antoine R. Shaw; his son Jamari Antoine "PopPop" Shaw; his brother Bradyen Shaw; his grandparents, Jacqueline Jones, Betty Pointer, Oscar Fuller and Ronnie Shaw (Annie); and his great-grandparent Emma Mae Jones. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
