He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Cole Thomas and Peter Thomas; his son Kenneth Wayne Cole Jr.; and his siblings, Donald Ray Foster, Peter "Sambo" Thomas, Dianne Reed Miller, Mary Irene "Geraldine" Thomas and Wanda Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Sonya Cole; his daughters, Kendra Cole and Kiana Cole; his grandson Kenneth Wayne Cole III; and his siblings, Joan Sam, Judy Cole, Brenda J. Pickney, Eva Mae Norris, Alice Cole and Houston Reed. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
