She was predeceased by : her father Leonard Haywood; her son Michael Phillips; her grandchildren, Jakell Earnest Benjamin Phillips and Askari Whitmore; and her grandparents, Prince, Pankie Franklin, Toney Haywood, Sr. and Marion Haywood Richmond.

She is survived by : her mother Brenda Whitmore; her son Alvontae Whitmore; her brothers, Marcus Whitmore (Lanetra) and Ricky Lamont Haywood; and her grandchildren, Naomi Whitmore, Naveah Whitmore, Jeremy Whitmore and Ariel Nichole Hargraves.
