He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester, Sr. Smith of Washington and Mabel Smith of Washington. He is survived by: his children, Larry Smith, Jr. (Natalie), Felicia Edmond (Sherman), Christopher Penister and Deontrae Smith; his siblings, Ruth Taylor, Dorothy Gaddy (Troy), Sylvester, Jr. (Rose) of Washington, Lavern Terry (Robert), James of Washington, Bruce of Washington and Levetta Stokes (Timmie); and his close friend Gloria Lewis.
