He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Davis and Catherine Davis; his stepmother Rachel Johnson Davis; his wife Ethel L. Grant Davis; his daughter Catherine Harvey; his siblings, Sharon Davis, Ronald Davis, Sr., Michael Davis and Gerald Davis; and his grandson Kenneth Cole, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Sonya Cole (Kenneth) of Pine Bluff, AR and Lawrence A. Davis, III (Rosaland) of Little Rock, AR; his siblings, Larnell Davis of Pine Bluff, AR, Lauren Davis of Claremont, CA, Gail Thigpen (Edward) of Peoria, IL, Janice Kearney (John) of Pine Bluff, AR, Pawnee Davis of Ft. Washington, MD and Zelana Davis of Boston, MA; and his sister-in-law Barbara Davis (late Ronald). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandson; a host of loving nieces, nephews and close family friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence A. Davis, Jr. Endowed Scholarship at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
