He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Lily Johnson of Raymond, Arkansas.; his sisters, Marie and Shirley; his wife Derothy Spencer Johnson; his daughter Shelley Michelle Johnson Foster (Sissy); his grandchildren, Ronnie Poteet, Tracy Lee Davis and Margie Michelle Clinton (Patty); and his great grandchild Shaneah Self.
He is survived by: his children, Margie Self, Carl Charlton, Brinda Strong, Sheila Jenkins, James William Johnson (JW), David Johnson, Tracy Johnson and Leslie Johnson Jr. (George); Bobby and David. He is also survived by his children and numerous other family members and friends.
