He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Levi and Lena Mae Thomas; and his siblings, Michael Thomas, Earnest Thomas, Cornelius Thomas and Derotha Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline Thomas (Welch); his daughters, Lekita Thomas of Benton, AR and LeCreesha Thomas of Little Rock, AR; his siblings, Manevia Hunt (Johnny) of Madison, IL, Margaret Baines (Ray) of Shelby, MS, Rosie Thomas of Pine Bluff, AR, Hosia Thomas (Christine) of Pine Bluff, AR and Arzell Thomas (Katherine) of Illinois; and his grandchildren, Leilah Goins (Nurse), Keagan Awonsang (Doctor) and Kruze Lambert (Senior). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
