She was predeceased by: her parents, Havis "J. T." Robinson and Maysel Donaldson Robinson; her former husband James Rushing; her husband Kenneth R. Doss; her children, Jeanece Rushing and Carl Lynn Rushing; and her brothers, Laverl Robinson and Harold Robinson.
She is survived by: her adoptive father Wayne (Debbie Easterly); and her granddaughters, Stephanie Hayslip (Michael) and Stacy Johnson (Jason). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
