In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Maria had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Maria may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schwec and Katherine Schwec; her husband James Neff; and her brother Michael Schwec. She is survived by: her children, Katharine "Niki" McCoy (Hershel) of Pine Bluff and George Korol (Eileen) of Fleming Island, Florida; and her siblings, Jerry Schwec and Natalie Handzlik (Wally). She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
