She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wellington and Arleta Leslie Wellington; her husband Gene Sterling Cox; and her sons, Jonathan Ray Cox and Michael Sterling Cox.
She is survived by: her son Mark; and her sister Joni. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
