She was predeceased by: her parents, L. T. Hankins Jr. and Edna Jo Strobel Hankins; and her granddaughter Chelsea Dawn Heird. She is survived by: her husband David Pierce; her children, Terri Lynn Dees (Rick), Travis Pierce (Cindy), J. J. Pierce (Cathy) and Erika Heird (David); and her siblings, Wanda Ashcraft and David Hankins. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a multitude of other family members.
