It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melanie Want of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, born in Morganfield, Kentucky, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernie Wayne and Mimi; her sister Norma Jean Kirkpatrick; her nieces and nephews, Denise Kirkpatrick Marcus, Jennifer Wood, Randy Kirkpatrick, Charles Wood and Christopher Wood; her sons, John Want, III of Pine Bluff and Jason Want (Ruth Ann) of Midland, Michigan; her sister Pamela Wood (H. R. "Beau") of Grady; her grandchildren, Jenny Long, Maya Want and Sofia McVay; her nephew Patrick Wood; her niece Brianne Wood; and her children, Way of Little Rock, AR, Suite and Little Rock.
