He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Gladston Butts and Patsy Ruth Hoobler Butts; his brothers, Ronnie Butts and Jimmy Butts; and his pet Ranger.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Crawford Butts of Scott's Antiques; his brother Steve Butts of Pine Bluff; and his pets, Barkley, Chatty Mae and Chevy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
