She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Monk and Sadie Fite Moore; her grandparents, Fred and Maddie Fite (John Stoke, Sr.); her siblings, Samuel McBroom, George Moore, Clauda Moore, Sr., Leroy Moore, Charles Moore, Johnny Monk, Jr. and Swayzine Moore; her aunt Woilee Savage; her niece Arneta Kaye Huggins; and her grandsons, Dontrick Williams and Jimmie Stokes, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband John Stokes, Sr.; her children, John, Jr., Glenn, Linda, Joyce, Jimmie, Timmie, Carl and Kevin; her stepdaughter Barbara Evans-Riley (Keith) of Compton, California.; her sisters, Selma West (Tiny) of Chicago, Dorothy Moore of Little Rock and Joann Henderson (Raymond) of Pine Bluff; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Thompson of Jackson and Jearline Moore of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.; her half-brother Joe Monk of Mobile, Alabama.; her nieces, Suzanne Evans of Chicago and Denice Porter of Little Rock; Freddie Earl Washington of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.. She is also survived by six sons, two daughters, and one stepdaughter.
Mildred received her education at Chamat Foundation, where she laid the educational foundation for a life of discipline and devotion.
