With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patrick Mitchell (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), born in Camden, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joseph Mitchell and Cecelia Johanna Manley Mitchell; and his sisters, Colleen Houlihan and Monica Kowalski. He is survived by: his wife Nancy DeMoss Donaldson; his children, Carla Burgey (Terry Rowland) of Kingsland, Bryan Mitchell (Robin) of Camden, Patricia Stewart of Camden, Bruce Mitchell of Camden, Brent Mitchell of Camden, Cindy Grider (Wesley) of Ft. Mill, Vince Donaldson (AnnaMarie) of Oneida, Bobby Donaldson (M'Leah) of Benton and Philip Donaldson of Little Rock; his sister Benita Niciu (Ben); his cousins, Mike Mitchell of Camden, Danny Mitchell of Camden, David Mitchell of Camden, Bernadette Schinn of Camden and Karen Scales of Camden; and his sister-in-law Marilyn DeMoss of Sheridan. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

“My name is Jerry O'Brien. I lived in Camden until 1959. Pat was my first cousin, the oldest of my generation. Let me tell you about the Pat Mitchell I knew in 1959. He was a leader on the Camden Central High basketball team. He was "The Man" in 1959, the Center. I was like his little brother and he was my hero. He spent hours with me playing baseball. He taught me to hit and field. I will never forget those times. Thank you sir. Rest in Peace. My prayers go to his wife, Nancy, and his family.”
