She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ashcraft and Pauline Yarbrough Ashcraft; her husband Cecil Earl Smith; and her sisters, Mary Nell Atkinson (Gary) and Jacqueline Johnston (Willie John).
She is survived by: her children, Joey Smith and Tamara Harden (Ted); her brother John Edward Ashcraft (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Ashley Johnson (Russell), Kattie Smith, Evan Smith and Crystal Adam (John); her great grandchildren, Gatlin and Gideon Johnson; her sister-in-law Sandy Rockwell (Billy); and her caregivers, Ronda Hale, Linda Grimmett and Vergerine Welch. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
