She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Lee Darnell; her uncle Harold Hardin; and her sister Leann Hardin. She is survived by: her mother Glenda Hardin Darnell of Sheridan; her husband John Garrison of Pine Bluff; her children, John Garrison, Jr. (Faith), Carl Garrison of Pine Bluff and Dana McGhee of Cabot; her siblings, Edmond Darnell of North Dakota and Mary Hardin of Monticello; and her aunts and uncles, Cathy Picklesimer, Pam Pilcher, Claud Hardin, Hollis Hardin and Donald "Bo" Hardin.
