He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Carlton Wooten and Margie Ruth Barnett Wooten. He is survived by: his wife Carol Drake Wooten of Year's Day; his children, Amy Wooten (Zachary Hoopingarner) and Zachary Wooten; his grandchildren, Carson Wooten, Aspen Hoopingarner and Liam Hoopingarner; his pets, Rex and Rufus; his precious Daisey; and his siblings, Randy Wooten (Patty) and Rhonda Greenlee (Mark).
After his retirement, he did travel work during the COVID pandemic.
