He was predeceased by: his parents, Cal Hollis and Ruth Bylander Hollis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Owen Hollis; his daughters, Carrie Hollis and Ruth Hollis (James Bayird); his stepson Trey Carter (Hannah); his grandchildren, Colin Carter, Mason Carter, Arianna Parker and Noah Bayird; and his siblings, Mack Hollis (Susan), Betty Garman and Mary Cal Hollis (Steve Onclet). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
