He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Stover and Versa Rhodes Stover; and his siblings, George J. Stover and Claudia Mae Harrison. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Stover (Melissa) of Pine Bluff and Margina Stover Socia (Terry); his brother Rolan Stover; his granddaughters, Vanessa Butters and Barbara Kidd; and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh Troxal, Ethan Gehrer and Addy Gehrer.

“Dear Jody, Melissa, Gina, and family— I have many good childhood memories of your dad. Uncle Robert Lee was alot like Grandaddy in the sense of being a bit of prankster! I loved watching football games with him and that’s when I became a Cowboys fan! I know you’ll miss him so much. Sorry we couldn’t be there for the service but you all are in my thoughts and prayers. “Robert Lee was a great uncle and we have many fond memories of him and his fun, playful ways when we were children. He was kind and had a soft heart. He will be sorely missed, but so happy that he is now with our Heavenly Father, his wife and parents and siblings. Martha (Larry) Harrison Slayton and Mike (Joyce) Harrison. I am out of the country and Mike is in a nursing home in Sheridan. Though we can’t be at the service, our thoughts and prayers will be with the family on Friday.”
