He was predeceased by : his parents, Leroy Charles Taylor and Gussie Doris Blair Taylor; his wife Mary Frances Peek Taylor; his sister Patsy; his brother-in-law Arnis Glover; his son-in-law Paul Edmondson; and his granddaughter Carol Shepard.

He is survived by : his daughter Terry Taylor Edmondson of Pine Bluff; his grandchildren, Nicole Edmondson Phillips (Anthony) of Nantes, France and Royce Edmonson (Lindsey) of Woodlawn; and his extended family, Sara Olsen (Wade) of Kodiak and Adam St. John of Bozeman, Montana.. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
