He was predeceased by: his father Herman Johnson; his grandparents, James and Eula Mae Lampkin; his uncle Charles Lampkin; and his aunt Marilyn Lampkin.
He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Lampkin Jones; his wife Shalonda Johnson; his children, Reginald Johnson, Qua'Neika Johnson, Rhaje Johnson, Sherman Johnson Jr., Marvin Johnson, Shameka Johnson, Keunta Johnson and Arthur Woods; his stepfather Jewel Jones; and his siblings, Reginald Johnson (Travonne), Terri Hunt (Kenneth), Tameca Williams (Mike) and Aliyah Jones. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Paradise Funeral Home (3705 W 6th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Motley Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
