He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Sims-Copeland; his son Micheal Gerald Copeland of Benton; his daughters-in-law, Stephanie Copeland and Javonnia Holt; his brother Herman Rogers of Fulton; his daughters, Venus Fowler (Sam) and Jade Edgar (Tyrone) of Texas; his grandchildren, Micheal Faruki Copeland (Cherelle), Mikeala Javon Copeland, Braxton Maxwell Copeland, Micheal D'Annunzi Copeland, William M. McArthur, Loren D. McArthur, Aiden, Kingston and Kennedy; his daughter Greyson; his nieces, Cynthia Ephfrom (Lloyd) of Arkansas, Karen Mattin (William) of Arkansas and Nadine Andrews (Donald) of Arkansas; and his nephew Jeffery Allmon of Texas.
