She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Britton Smith and Claudia Jane Crone Smith; her husband Ernest Duke; her siblings, Mary Nell Smith, Kathryn Atkinson Vinyard, Nelda Smith Hildreth and Clarence Britton Smith, Jr. (Britt); her niece Jennifer Leah Hildreth; and her nephews, William Wilson Hildreth III (Bill) and Larry Britton Smith.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Robert D. Atkinson (Jean) of Matthews, Charles Ronald Atkinson (Betty) of Beaufort, Joseph F. Thompson (Joe) of Bentonville, Arkansas, Claudia Hildreth Kelty (Jack) of Heber Springs and Diana Smith of White Hall, Arkansas.. She is also survived by eleven great-nieces and nephews and twenty-three great-great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice Homecare, or the Alzheimer's Association.
