Virginia Bolden Obituary

We announce the death of Virginia Bolden of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on June 19, 2026. Virginia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, O. W. Sparks and Catherine Taylor Sparks; her child Cidni Bolden Sanders (Ebon); her husband Charlie Will Bolden; her son Carlos Bolden (Erin); her grandchildren, Charles Sanders, Lauren Sanders, Langston Bolden and Hendrix Bolden; her siblings, Earnest Sparks, Sr. (Vernal), Arlean Hamilton (John), Dorothy Ferguson (Theartis) and Brenda Tatum; her son William Tatum III (Alyse); and her siblings, Joanna Callaway, Mary Sparks and Oscar C. Sparks, Sr.. She was also cherished by loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the building fund of Cherry Street Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church.
