She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Monk and Easter Monk (Donaldson); her husbands, Robert Turner and William Sayles; her son Ellis Monk Sr.; her daughter-in-law Flora Monk; and her siblings, Anderson Mitchell, George, Johnny, Sylvester, Doris, Ora Lee, Matthew, Richard and Roosevelt.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tamika Evans (Antonio) of Bastrop, LA, Ellis Jr. Monk Ft (Sabrina) and Wayne; her great grandchildren, A'Donis, Lacy, Ellis, Demi, Leena, Toomy, Jeremy and D'Angelo; her great great grandchildren, Sevenn, Heaven and De'Angelo; her goddaughters, Cathy Taylor, Elaine Ridgell and Reba McIntosh (Michael); her brother Joe Louis Monk of Aniston, AL.; and her niece Betty Monk. She is also survived by relatives, friends.
