He was predeceased by: his father Jim Bob "J. B."; his wife Phyllis Dawn George Hughes; and his sons, Jim Hughes and Jeffery Lynn Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Terry Hughes of Pine Bluff and Sharon Crossett (David) of Centerton; his sisters, Mary Lou Travis of Hilton Head, SC and Noweeda Henderson of Monroe, LA; his grandchildren, Kyle Hughes (Heather) of Fayetteville, Brooke Driver (Michael) of Broken Arrow, OK, Katie Caldwell (Brad) of Atkins, Sarah Hughes of Hot Springs, Bethanne Williams (Brett) of Grand Prairie, TX, Seth Hughes of Pine Bluff and Matthew Hughes of Star City; and his great grandchildren, Sophi Hughes, Barrett Hughes, Brady Hughes, Caleb Driver, Cade Driver, Allie Jo Caldwell and David Caldwell.
