We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2022, at the age of 75, William Dowell Hudson (Pine Bluff, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Judson Hudson and Claudia Wright Hudson; and his brother Paul Wright Hudson. He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Elizabeth Carr; his wife Sandy Work Hudson; his daughter Ginny Hudson Blankenship (Drew); and his grandsons, Samuel Hudson Blankenship and Sam. He is also survived by his family, including his beloved pets.

“My wife and I both had the pleasure of being students of "Mr. Hudson" in biology at Pine Bluff High School in the early 70's. Not only was he a great teacher, but a friend to his students. I last saw and talked to him at Dr. Tom Ed Townsend's funeral in Pine Bluff around 2013, and it was the highlight of an otherwise sad day. Our sympathy goes to his entire family.
