He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Weeks Townsend; his children, William W. "Billy" Townsend, Jr. (Julia) of Bentonville, Bryan Lawton "Bubba" Townsend (Lynn) of West Point, Richard Myrick of Pine Bluff and Sonya Lindsey (Troy) of Star City; his sister Kay Butram of Bolivar, Missouri; his grandchildren, Bryan Lawton Townsend, Jr. (Mandy), Sydney Townsend, Michelle Myrick, Michael Myrick and Paige Myrick; his great grandchildren, Colton William Townsend and Skyler Myrick; and his pets, Spooky, Tiger Man, Princess and Whiskers.
