She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wendell Morphis and Barbara Ann Coulter Morphis; her son Donnie Edwards; and her brother Damon Wade Morphis. She is survived by: her husband John Edwards of Plainview; her children, Wendi Ann Edwards of Plainview and Jerry Wendell J. Edwards of Jacksonville; and her brothers, Wayne Morphis of Monticello and Kevin Morphis of Monticello. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bayou Mason Baptist Church (723 Airport Rd, Lake Village, AR 71653). Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 11:00 PM at the same location.
