He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Hite and Freeda Marcella Busby; his son Gary Martin; his grandson Gary Martin Jr.; and his siblings, Frank Marsh and Josephine Ruff.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hite (Bench); his children, Kyle Hite and Ivy Hite; and his siblings, Pat Dockery, Paul Hite (Sandy) and Donald Hite (Brenda).
