She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Albert Woodmansee and Helen Eileen Woodmansee; her husband Samuel A. Hovell, Jr.; her brothers, Kenneth H. Woodmansee, Charles E. Woodmansee and David Penn Woodmansee; and her son Samuel A. Hovell, III.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Hovell Faust (Doug) of Hammond, LA; her grandson Reuben Tucker Faust (Heidi) of Mandeville, LA; her sisters, Diane Whaley of Maynard, AR and Brenda Marksberry Logan of Mt. Orab, OH; and her close friend Dallas Salyards of Pocahontas, AR..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pocahontas First Assembly of God (605 S Park St, Pocahontas, AR 72455). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
