She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Metz and Georgia Metz; her husband Wallace J. Carter; her son Dennis Carter; and her siblings, Violet Garrett, Dwain and Gerald Metz.
She is survived by: her son Ed Carter (Ardie) of Jonesboro; her sisters, Shirley Adams (Leon) and Brenda Tackett (Charles); and her grandchildren, Katrina Weir of Bay, David (Amy) of Pea Ridge and Mike Samuels (Brandi) of Paragould. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
