Karen Carlew Burris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Carlew Burris of Pocahontas, Arkansas, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dale Carlew Sr. and Janette Chandler Davis. She is survived by: her husband Jon Brian Burris; her children, Michael Prince (Julie), Rebekah Prince-DeCastro (Taylor) and Zachary Burris; her grandchildren, Connor Durham and Ashton McAdams; and her siblings, William D. Carlew Jr. and DeAnn Stahl (Otis). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel (2129 N Park St, Pocahontas, AR 72455). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Karen to The Foundation Scholarship of Pocahontas School District or St. Jude Research Hospital.
