He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Carter and Beulah Carter (Tinker); his siblings, Dorothy Hayes and Charles "Dub" Carter; and his nephew Rick Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Pasha Carter of Pocahontas; his children, David Carter and Trish McKeel; his stepchildren, Daniel Suenkel (Tammy) of West Virginia and Tracey Reece (Wayne) of Brookland; his siblings, Jerry "Wayne" Carter, Shirley Higgins and Mary Sue Baskins; and his nephew Bruce Carter. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church (605 S Park St, Pocahontas, AR 72455). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Randolph Memorial Gardens (Pocahontas, AR 72455).
