He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartha Baltz and Rosa Weisenbach Baltz; and his siblings, Catherine Barre, James Baltz, Helen Hunter, Robert Baltz, Tom Baltz, Alice Jansen, Frances Steimel, Ray Baltz, Curtis Baltz, Fintan Baltz and Lucian Baltz.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Baltz; his children, Malissa Crawford (Allen), Karen Johnson, Gerald Baltz (Tammie), Keith Baltz (Lisa) and Renee Kawcak (Chris); and his grandchildren, Jillian Hogan (Marty), Derek Baltz (Lesli), Kyle Wren, Jason Wren (Sarah), Zachary Johnson, Taylor Ussery (Chris), Ashley Hagood, Morgan Meldrum (Landon), Emma Pittman (Nathan), Courtney Kawcak, Nicholas Baltz, Cody Kawcak and Max Baltz. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. John Cemetery or the St. Paul Catholic School.
