She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Fonkert and Marilyn McCarthy Fonkert; her husband Don McLavey; her son Gerald Ray; and her nephew Derek.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Cooper and Diane McTasney (Brian); her grandchildren, Renee, Brandi, Darrell, Michaela, Tristen and Gabriel; her siblings, Gwen, Linda, Melody and Richard; and her nieces and nephews, Tina, Jennifer, David, Estella and Marcos. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
