It is with sadness that the passing of Wendell Rueben Johnson of Pocahontas, Arkansas is shared. Wendell, born on January 1, 1934, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Ada Johnson and James Johnson; his wife Alice Elizabeth Johnson; his children, Valerie Johnson and Mark Johnson; his great grandchild Mila Rose Johnson; and his brother Brian Jennings Johnson.

He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Johnson (Kathy) of Pocahontas and Tim Johnson of Pocahontas; and his grandchildren, Gregory Johnson (Casey), Courtney Newberry (Nick), Aaron Jerrett (Stephanie), Jordan Poe (Samantha), Adam Poe and Matthew Johnson (Heather). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McNabb Funeral Home (2129 N Park St, Pocahontas, AR 72455). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
