He is survived by: his children, Rebekah Ring (Charlie) of Ravenden, Lisa Kirby (Donnie) of Dalton, Wendy Adams (Tommy) of Reyno, Tracy Hallman of Magness, LeeAnn Cates of Pocahontas and Bobby Cates of Pocahontas; his sister Georgia Smart; his grandchildren, Ashley Garrison (James), Amanda Horton (Derek), Will Ring (Christie), Drew Ring (Shea), Brandon Kerley (Jennifer), Jacob Kirby (Bailey), Aaron Kirby (Tiffany), Cory Godwin, Caleb Godwin (Kirsten), Cody Adams (Katelyn), Tyler Adams (Heather), Emily, Hanna, Abbie, Maddie Adams, Rachel Luedemann (Casey), Ryan Bounds (Kelsie), Kayden Cates-Wessell, Trevor, Natalie and Hannah Cates; and his friends, Bill Hallman and Chuck Gentry. He is also survived by 41 great grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild.
