With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathline Hughes of Poplar Grove, Arkansas, who passed away on January 28, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kaiichiro Fujioka and Ichiko Fujioka; her former husband Willie E. Hughes; and her sisters, Taeko Dawe and Yoshiko Yamaguchi.
She is survived by: her spouse Naval Petty Officer; her daughter Nicole "Nicky" Savage (Mark) of Poplar Grove; her grandchildren, Amanda Savage, Russell Savage, Ashley Savage and Haden (Cole Savage); and her siblings, Chieko Fujikoa and Istuo Fujioka. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
