He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Kight and Nell Denman Long; his sister Nancy Kight; his stepdaughter Regina James Pearce; and his grandchild Sunny James.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Kight; his children, Misty Kight, Valinda Kight and Wade Kight (Karen); his niece Lisa Long; and his stepson Duard Pearce (Brenda). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Atkins First Baptist Church (201 N Church St, Atkins, AR 72823).
