He is survived by: his wife Eleonore Griehl Holmes; his son Robert Glen Holmes (Louvenia Jane); his grandsons, Jonathan Dean Holmes (Tara), Robert John Holmes and William Isaac Holmes; and his great grandchild Chase Lemar Holmes.
