He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Hanshaw and Ethel Hanshaw (Flood); his siblings, Dub Hanshaw, Dale Hanshaw, Nuel Hanshaw and Lorine Dunn; his niece Patsy Nunnally; and his nephews, Jim Thompson, Jamie Thompson, Davey Hanshaw, Gary Hanshaw, Dan Hanshaw, Virgil Brown, Darrell Brown and Bobby Joe Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Hanshaw; and his nieces and nephews, Albert "Buzz" Brown, Allen Horton, Mike Hanshaw, Leona Horton Lawson (Rich) and Gloria Smith (Rick Colley). He is also survived by others great nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cox Funeral Home (3280 US-67 BUS, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
