As we bid adieu to Anita's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Anita has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Cook, Sr.; and her parents, Garland Harris and Mamie Harris (Winborn). She is survived by: her sons, Franklin Ray Cook Jr. of Prairie Grove, Henry Cook of Dallas, Mike Cook of South Carolina and John Cook of Hope, Arkansas; and her siblings, Ruth Welsh of Van Buren, Charlene Fite of Van Buren and Gano Harris of Hideaway, Texas. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ocker Memorial Chapel (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the Gracelawn Cemetery.
