Shirley Danks Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Danks of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, who passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Phillips and Mildred Phillips; her husband Russell Danks; and her siblings, Donna Bonnett and Robert Phillips.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Hutchins (Cecil) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, R. Jeffrey Danks (Lia) of West Fork and Brian Danks (Demetra Stacey) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; and her sisters, Judy Bishop of Phoenix and Sue Ellwanger of Modesto, California. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Baptist Ford Community Church (736 Co Rd 1194, Fayetteville, AR 72701). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Baptist Ford Cemetery.
