He is survived by: his wife Helen Lee (Rose); his siblings, Fred Lee (Brenda) of St. Louis, Missouri and Mary June Fields of Missouri; his children, Craig Lee (Lisa), Sam Lee (Cheryl), Amos Chambers III and Jennifer Samuel-Haeg (Blake); his grandchildren, Sammy Jr., Josh, Christy, Tori, Jacob, Isaac, Andrew and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Christeen, Eli, Bobby Jr. and Ely May.
